As an English teacher at Briton, learning & teaching has become one. Ongoing learning should become your passion to upgrade your teaching and knowledge of English. This is the key to help your student achieve higher level of proficiency both speaking, reading, listening & writing proven by one of Cambridge international certificates, such as BEC, FCE, CAE or IELTS.
At Briton Centre, you will be teaching English to SD/SMP/SMU and college students, job seekers and employees and our students are all self-motivated and active learners. As the program focuses on Speaking and Exams Preparation, most classes are relatively small ranging from 7 to 13 students, and students are grouped based on their ages and abilities. You will not teach a mixed class of young learners and teenagers or with adults. They will have their own classroom and different program.
Our teacher development program every Wednesday Morning provides opportunities for all teachers to share their knowledge and practices. Teachers are encouraged to become a member of Cambridge English Teachers (CET) Community where a world-class training and workshop are provided regularly. We also regularly send 2-3 teachers every year to take Trinity College TESOL or Cambridge CELTA Certificate before taking an advanced role in teacher supervision or management.
